As a Ph.D. candidate in Organizational Leadership at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, I have focused my research on perceptions of organizational justice in the technology industry. Through the creation and distribution of a survey to 1,500 tech workers, I was able to analyze the results using various statistical methods and translate the technical findings into easily understandable language for my advisors and readers.
In my professional experience, I have held various roles that have allowed me to utilize my skills in design, communication, and project management. As a government contractor, I have experience completing market research and communications projects. I have also worked as a Graduate Assessor for a consulting firm, where I reviewed and evaluated promotional candidate assessments, provided ratings according to predetermined scoring rubrics, and worked with other members of an assessment panel.
In addition to my professional experience, I have also been actively involved in various organizations. As the Public Relations Chair for the MetroBoard Chicago Urban League, I developed and released communications for various events and implemented process improvement plans for volunteer and board collaboration. I have also worked as an Engagement Manager for the Executive Service Corps, where I built and maintained relationships with key stakeholders, developed an executive compensation plan, and coached mid-level managers.
In my roles with BECOME, Inc., I have demonstrated my ability to create and execute successful social media campaigns. I have also participated in DEI evaluations and led DEI training sessions, highlighting my commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Overall, my education and professional experience have provided me with a strong foundation in organizational leadership and human resources management. I am confident in my ability to effectively communicate, manage projects, and drive positive change in any organization.
